Cornwall Volkswagen

On December 22, 2023 OEM Automotive Solutions Inc., OEM Automotive Cornwall Inc., and OEM Automotive Holdings Inc. (Collectively “Cornwall Volkswagen”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act with the Official Receiver, and BDO Canada Limited consented to act as Trustee in the administration of the Proposal.

Sale and Investment Solicitation Process

On January 17, 2024, the Court granted an order (the “Sale Process Approval Order”) which approved, among other things, a sale and investment solicitation process (the “SISP”).

The SISP is intended to solicit interest in, and opportunities for, a sale of, or investment in, all or part of the Cornwall Volkswagen’s business and assets, including its dealership assets and its owned real estate assets. This may include one or more of a restructuring, recapitalization or other form of reorganization of the business and affairs of Cornwall Volkswagen as a going concern or a sale of all, substantially all or one or more components of Cornwall Volkswagen as a going concern or otherwise.
