On March 6, 2024, Kaden Energy Ltd. (the “Company”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (the "NOI") pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the “BIA”) and BDO Canada Limited was appointed as the trustee ( the "Proposal Trustee"). A copy of the Certificate of Notice of Intention issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy is provided below:
The Company sought and obtained an Order from the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta (the “Court”) approving the extension of the stay of proceedings (the “Stay”) through to May 20, 2024.
Additionally, the Company sought and obtained an Order from the Court approving a procedure to adjudicate creditor claims (the “Claims Procedure”). Additional information on the Claims Procedure will be sent out as soon as possible when available.
