Administrative Services
The BDO Administrative Services team is responsible for coordinating information in support of our office environments within the firm. These individuals perform a wide range of duties that focus on supporting the day-to-day and strategic projects of the firm by effectively prioritizing workloads, managing multiple tasks and deadlines, and supporting high level demands with excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and client service.
Human Resources
Our sophisticated HR team is comprised of HR advisors and centers of expertise in learning and performance, HR operations, total rewards and talent acquisition. The team's objective is to support the firm's vision and strategy, through the delivery of an exceptional talent experience that attracts, engages and grows our talent. As trusted advisors, the HR team delivers a breadth of resources and services to help our people build and maintain strong and valued relationships.
Information Technology
Information technology is more than just fixing computers, it's about understanding business needs and designing IT solutions to meet them. Our diverse team includes: Infrastructure, Application Development and Web Services, Enterprise Applications and Information Management, Project Management, and Office and User Support. This team ensures that everyone at BDO has access to the latest technology to foster success and meet the firm's wide-ranging needs.
Internal Accounting
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the responsibilities of the internal accounting department include accurately and efficiently gathering, analyzing, interpreting and reporting financial information in an informative manner for internal and external purposes. The team also protects assets and other financial resources through adequate internal controls, policies and processes.
Marketing, Communications & Business Development
The Marketplace department is a shared services group that provides marketing and communications, business development, and go-to-market programs and support for offices across Canada. The team is responsible for building the firm's brand in the marketplace, working closely with BDO leaders and local offices to develop and execute a wide range of strategic initiatives and programs that support the firm's growth.
