Executive summary

During any given workday, Ernest (Ernie) Furt might change hats many times. He switches effortlessly between myriad tax issues, including non-resident taxes and corporate taxes.

“It drives me crazy,” he admits. “But that's what keeps me going. I like challenges. I enjoy it when there's a problem out there that others can't solve and I can, especially when it benefits the client. Our clients are like a second family to me. Clients are what drive our business, and we have to service them in the way they want to be serviced.”

Armed with an analytic mind and an engaging personality, Ernie says he doesn't sell services, he sells relationships. “Once a trust and relationship is built with a client, things happen. The client comes to regard you as the one to call whenever they have a question or need to solve a problem.”
