André is a Senior Vice-President in the Ottawa Financial Recovery Services Office. André manages the Financial Recovery Services practice for the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec Ottawa region which spans from Pembroke to Ottawa/Gatineau to Cornwall.
For over 20 years, André has been assisting individuals and businesses in finding creative and practical solutions to resolve their financial difficulties. André has a broad range of financial recovery experience including bankruptcy filings, proposals to creditors, receiverships and court appointed Receiver-Manager. André is known for his ability to deal with complex issues and to assist debtors and creditors in reaching mutually beneficial solutions.
André's experience includes corporate mandates in the knowledge-based, manufacturing, real estate and retail industries. In addition, André has assisted numerous individuals and businesses in negotiating successful settlements with Canada Revenue Agency with respect to tax debts. André is frequently consulted by insolvency professionals, government agencies and financial institutions for his expertise on insolvency related matters. André is also a frequent speaker on insolvency matters.
André is a past board member of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (OAIRP) and a current board member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP). André is also a past member of the CAIRP Small Practice Liaison Committee and is currently the chair of the CAIRP Consumer Advocacy Task Force.
