Alan is a partner and National Forensics Practice Leader in BDO's Toronto office, with over 20 years of professional experience providing forensic and litigation accounting services.
Alan has conducted forensic and litigation accounting assignments for clients in a wide range of industries, including banking, insurance, manufacturing, technology, agriculture, food and beverage, and many others. He has successfully assisted a number of clients with fraud investigations, economic loss quantification, and accountants' standard of performance.
Alan served as an elected member and Chair of the Governing Council of CPA Ontario. He has also been involved in the community as a member of board of directors of the Scarborough-Health Network, and is a past director of The Scarborough Hospital and Homes First Society. Alan has presented as a subject-matter expert on topics such as damages quantification, financial aspects of corporate governance, and financial reporting/accounting.
