BDO Canada announces accessibility plan to promote inclusion and remove barriers

Toronto – BDO Canada has achieved a significant milestone in its commitment to fostering accessibility and inclusion within the firm. With the completion of an internal accessibility assessment and the launch of our Accessibility Plan, BDO Canada reaffirms its dedication to providing an inclusive environment that offers equal opportunities for all employees.

“We are committed to proactively exploring strategies that eliminate barriers across our organization on an ongoing basis. This plan will guide BDO's actions as a firm, enabling us to become a more accessible and inclusive organization.”
Bruno Suppa, CEO, BDO Canada

The Accessibility Plan serves as a blueprint for the firm's actions, where inclusivity is at the forefront of its initiatives. The process was led by BDO Canada's Accessibility Consulting team, who assists clients with identifying and developing comprehensive plans to eliminate accessibility barriers within their own organizations.

“We have lived experience as individuals with disabilities, which allows us to connect with employees and clients, recognize barriers to accessibility, assist organizations navigating requirements, and reach new levels of disability confidence,” says Max Brault, Accessibility Consulting Leader, BDO Canada. “We're proud to play a role in guiding the firm on its journey to advancing inclusion and accessibility for employees and our clients, alike”.
