Executive Summary
Rachel Gervais is the Managing Partner of the Tax Service Line for BDO Canada, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Rachel is responsible for leading and driving strategic growth for tax services.
Previously, Rachel was the Tax Service Line Leader for the GTA, and the Private Wealth and Tax Service Line Talent Leader nationally at BDO Canada. As a member of the firm's Tax Service Line Leadership Team, she was responsible for successfully executing the firm’s strategy and vision by building and growing the best mid-market tax practice across the GTA.
As a tax partner with BDO Canada’s Private Client Services, Transaction Tax, and Canadian Tax Practices, she focused on the real estate and construction, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Rachel helped clients protect and grow their wealth by developing and implementing strategies to minimize the taxes they pay, keeping more of their hard-earned dollars in their pockets.
Passionate in tax education, she has lectured and presented for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA) tax conferences and courses, the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Regional and National conferences, and BDO’s national tax conferences.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters, spouse and extended family for family dinners, movies, games and vacations.
