With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our friend and colleague Paul Boucher, who passed away suddenly with his family by his side on March 27, 2022, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Our heartfelt condolences go to Paul’s family during this very challenging time.
Paul was a Partner in BDO’s Oakville office. He joined the firm in 2011, leading BDO’s Special Advisory Services Manufacturing Industry team with a focus on Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED). He was a dedicated and loyal partner who cared deeply about his work and colleagues.
“He loved everything about manufacturing,” shared Craig Mulcahy, Partner, SR&ED, and Government Incentives Tax Practice Leader. “He brought a lot of energy to our internal team, and under his leadership, our GTA SR&ED team experienced great growth.”
Paul was a caring husband and proud father. His compassion, patience, and mentorship behind the scenes to the SR&ED practice will be truly missed.
