On February 14, 2012 Baldwin Paper Co. Limited/Papiers Baldwin Compagine Limitee and 9169-2707 Quebec Inc. o/a Papiers Baldwin (collectively 'the Companies') filed Notices of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to s50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and BDO Canada Limited ('BDO') was appointed Proposal Trustee by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE INVITED TO REGISTER to receive a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement ('NDA'). Upon signing and returning the NDA BDO will grant the individual access to a confidential online data room. Founded in 1961 and headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Baldwin is one of the largest paperboard converters in Canada. Baldwin purchases large rolls of paperboard from North American paper mills and converts them to smaller rolls or sheets depending on its customer's needs.
Papiers extends Baldwin's geographical reach by offering the Companies' Quebec customers the same products and services that Baldwin does to its Ontario customers.
