The Lodge had previously ceased operations on, or around Wednesday March 22, 2023, therefore all future bookings are cancelled and guests should not travel to Yellowknife in connection with any future bookings.
Bankruptcy
Taiga Sports Fishing Lodge Ltd. o/a Blachford Lake Lodge (the “Lodge”) filed an assignment in bankruptcy on March 24, 2023, pursuant to which BDO Canada Limited was named as Licensed Insolvency Trustee (the “Trustee”), which appointment was confirmed at the First Meeting of Creditors held on April 13, 2023.

On May 12, 2023, the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories granted an Order appointing BDO Canada Limited as Receiver (the “Receiver”) of the Lodge.
