Paul services a wide range of clients, including small, medium, and large business and sophisticated investors in industries such as financial institutions, pensions and benefit plans, asset and portfolio management, infrastructure, private equity and venture capital, real estate, private debt, information technology, telecommunications, media, transportation, automotive, manufacturing, and leasing.
Paul's industry experience includes leading the finance, valuations and strategy and planning functions at Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) for five years where he worked directly with private markets deal teams, risk teams and boards on activities that affected pricing, financing and other decision-making for small to large-scale infrastructure, private equity, real estate and private debt investments.
Paul has international experience working with multi-disciplinary service teams for public and private companies operating in Canada, the U.S., Argentina, Australia, Columbia, Finland, France, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the U.K.
Paul is also a Member of BDO's Advisory Services Board of Directors and Past Chair and Board Member of the CBV Institute.
