Executive summary
Jordon Brant is a proud member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte First Nation and serves as Lead, Indigenous Markets & Engagement at BDO. In this national leadership role, she drives the firm’s strategic approach to Indigenous markets, strengthening reconciliation commitments, advancing culturally safe engagement practices, and supporting long-term, trust-based partnerships with Indigenous governments, economic development corporations, businesses, and communities across Canada.
With over 20 years of experience, Jordon brings deep expertise in Indigenous governance, Indigenous engagement, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA), and strategic human resources. Her work spans public sector, corporate, and non-profit environments, supporting Indigenous-led governance, workforce development, and community-driven policy and economic initiatives.
At BDO, Jordon serves as the firm’s strategic and operational lead for Indigenous relationships and market growth. She supports Partners and client teams in delivering culturally grounded, relationship-based services aligned with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, UNDRIP principles, and Indigenous community priorities, strengthening BDO’s credibility across audit and assurance, tax and regulatory advisory, governance, economic development, infrastructure, and digital transformation services.
In addition to her professional role, Jordon is a Board Member with Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society, where she works collaboratively with First Nations communities to advance equitable, culturally grounded child welfare practices and support Indigenous-led approaches to family and community wellbeing.
She also leads the Indigenous Pillar of BDO’s National DEIA Advisory Council and serves as Chair of the Indigenous Steering Committee, providing guidance to senior leadership on Indigenous engagement, cultural safety, and governance.
