Award-winning journalist David Akin is the Chief Political Correspondent for Global News where he leads coverage of Canadian federal and provincial electoral politics. Akin has covered seven federal elections and more than two dozen provincial elections. He has reported from several G7, G20, NATO and other international summits of heads of government and will soon head to Malaysia and Korea to cover Prime Minister Carney's attendance at this year's ASEAN and APEC summits. He has been his organization's lead reporter on every federal budget tabled since 2006.
Robert Kavcic, Director, Senior Economist, BMO Capital Markets
Robert has been with BMO Capital Markets since 2006. He plays a key role in analyzing economic, fiscal and real estate trends in Canada. Robert regularly contributes to various department publications and is the main author of the Provincial Monitor and the sought-after Global Equity Weekly. He is a frequent commentator on economic and financial trends in the media, and a regular advisor on economic issues to Canadian policymakers.
Dr. Jack Mintz, President's Fellow, The School of Public Policy, University of Calgary
Dr. Jack Mintz is a Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute and President's Fellow at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy. He has held prominent academic roles at Queen's University, the University of Toronto, and Columbia and NYU Law Schools. He has served on corporate boards and advised governments and global organizations on tax policy. Mintz chaired the federal government of Canada's Technical Committee on Business Taxation, influencing major reforms. He is a regular contributor to the Financial Post and has received honors including the Order of Canada and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond and Platinum Jubilee Medals for his contributions to public policy.

Harry Chana, International and Cross-Border Tax Services Leader, BDO Canada
Harry is the International / Transaction Tax Practice Leader for BDO Canada, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He brings more than 20 years of experience on various international tax issues impacting public, multinational, and private enterprises. Harry is a frequent speaker at various industry events, as well as BDO client events, on a wide range of tax topics. He is also a group study leader at the In-Depth Tax Course sponsored by The Canadian Bar Association and The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Finally, Harry is also a member of The Canadian Tax Foundation and a past Finance Committee member of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.
Greg London, Domestic Tax Consulting Leader, BDO Canada
Greg is the Domestic Tax Consulting Leader for the Tax practice and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Greg's focus was on Private Client Services and Canadian personal tax planning and compliance for individuals and corporations. He has advised clients on a variety of business issues and opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, financial forecasting and modeling, due diligence assignments for both large corporations and owner-managed enterprises. He and his team are responsible for the program content and overseeing the program nationally. Greg also lectures for the In-Depth Tax Program on Canadian Tax topics.
