Executive summary

Greg is a Partner and Domestic Tax Consulting Leader for the Tax practice and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Previously, Greg was the Eastern Canada Tax Service Leader for BDO. As a Canadian Tax Partner, Greg advised clients on tax and advisory services to both personal and corporate clients. He was also the Tax Office Service Line Leader for Atlantic Canada. With over 22 years of experience, the last 19 exclusively in tax, Greg's focus was primarily on Private Client Services and Canadian personal tax planning and compliance for individuals and corporations.

Greg has advised clients on a variety of business issues and opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, financial forecasting and modeling, due diligence assignments for both large corporations and owner-managed enterprises, transaction tax services, trust and estate planning, and Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) government incentives. His industry expertise includes oil and gas, manufacturing and processing, including the seafood industry, as well as technology and transportation.

Greg presents regularly in the community on various tax topics through the Canadian Tax Foundation and learning sessions and industry conferences. Greg is currently the co-ordinator for Part I of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Program. He and his team are responsible for the program content and overseeing the program nationally. Greg also lectures for the In-Depth Tax Program on Canadian Tax topics.
