Toronto, ON – BDO Canada is pleased to announce that Kerri Plexman has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 2, 2026. Plexman, who currently serves as Managing Partner, Talent & Culture, brings extensive leadership experience to the role. She will be responsible for overseeing key functions to drive strategy, optimizing processes, and ensuring the firm works together to help clients, as BDO continues its growth trajectory.
Plexman succeeds Dave Simkins, who is stepping back from the COO position after more than 10 years in the role. Simkins guided BDO Canada through modernization, operational strengthening, and significant growth during his decade-long tenure as COO. He will continue to support the firm throughout the transition.
