Executive summary

Kerri Plexman is the COO and Managing Partner, Talent & Culture for BDO Canada. Kerri is responsible for growing BDO Canada by developing and implementing strategic plans across the firm. Her mandate includes expanding the breadth of services to businesses in Canada and internationally, supporting mergers and acquisitions, overseeing administrative functions, and optimizing processes to help shape the future of the firm.

In addition, Kerri leads a dedicated team focused on BDO’s people, including partners and staff, who are the firm’s key differentiator. She continues to drive BDO’s culture forward through a people first strategy, working closely with managing partners to understand and respond to the needs of our people across the country.

Previously, Kerri was BDO's GTA Office Managing Partner (OMP) leading a large team of partners and staff. As an Accounting and Assurance Partner, Kerri served clients ranging from mid-sized businesses to more complex, publicly listed organizations.

Kerri assisted companies with a wide range of issues including business acquisitions and purchase price allocations. She also has extensive experience working with organizations that operate in international jurisdictions. As the lead partner on various large public company audits, as well as large international audit engagements, Kerri has dealt with complex accounting and assurance issues.

Outside of the office, Kerri enjoys spending time with her family traveling or at the cottage.
