Toronto, ON — BDO Canada is pleased to welcome Ratan Verma, CPA, CA, as a Partner in our Assurance practice.
Based in Toronto, Ratan brings over 20 years of experience advising public and private companies in Canada, the U.S., and internationally. He works closely with clients across technology, media & entertainment, telecommunications, manufacturing, and consumer business sectors, helping them navigate complex financial reporting and audit requirements, strengthen internal controls, and drive lasting operational success through practical, high-quality advice.
Throughout his career, Ratan has worked at both international and mid-size national firms in Canada. He also contributed to global audit quality initiatives and led shared services practices within an international network - experience that reinforces his commitment to excellence and innovation in client service.
Ratan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in Canada and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) in India. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Calcutta.
Ratan joins BDO Canada on November 17.
