Toronto (ON) - BDO Canada is pleased to welcome Jeff Howald, CPA, CA, CFP, as a Partner in our Tax practice. Based in the Kitchener-Waterloo office, Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in Canadian income tax advisory, planning and compliance, with a focus on private client services for Canadian owned private enterprises, their shareholders and their families.
Jeff advises clients on complex business transactions with a focus on divestiture planning for the sale or transfer of Canadian controlled private corporations, corporate reorganizations, intergenerational transfers, and trust and estate planning. He has experience serving clients across a range of industries, including real estate construction and development, technology, manufacturing and health care.
Committed to tax education, Jeff has been involved with the CPA Canada In Depth Tax Program since 2010 in content development as well as serving as a tutorial leader at various levels of the program.
Jeff joins BDO Canada LLP as Partner in the Tax practice and will be based in the Kitchener Waterloo office.
