On October 24, 2018, BDO Canada Limited was appointed as Trustee of the Estate of Atlantica Diversified Transportation Systems Ltd. pursuant to a Court Order granted in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia in Bankruptcy and Insolvency. The Company had previously filed for Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") protection, which was granted on December 7, 2017. The CCAA process was ultimately unsuccessful and the Company ceased operations sometime just prior to February 14, 2018.
