8996598 Canada Inc. o/a Suncayr Inc.

On February 22, 2024 8996598 Canada Inc. o/a Suncayr Inc. (“899”) filed an assignment in bankruptcy and BDO Canada Limited was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee (“Trustee”). 899 was the manufacturer and distributor for the sunscreen sensing technology SPOTMYUV. SPOTMYUV made it easy to visually know when to re-apply your sunscreen and stay sun safe.  

The First Meeting of creditors will be held on March 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) via telephone conference call. A link to the Teams Meeting can be requested from [email protected] . To entitled to vote at the meeting, a creditor must lodge with the Trustee, before the meeting a Proof of Claim and where necessary, a Proxy.  

Creditors must prove their claims against the estate of the bankrupt in order to share in any distribution of realizations in the administration, if any, following payments to the secured creditors.
