Executive summary
Prior to joining BDO Law, Sophia completed her articles at a corporate boutique firm in Vancouver, where she gained experience in commercial law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financings, corporate governance, and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on clients in the mining and technology sectors. Through this work, she developed an appreciation for the ways in which corporate transactions, commercial disputes, and governance issues intersect with taxation.
Outside of her practice, Sophia enjoys running, snowboarding, tennis, and mountain biking. She has a particular interest in capital markets, economics, and tax policy.
