Executive summary
Sinéad is an Audit Partner in the Kelowna office, with over 16 years of professional experience providing audit and accounting services to the Aboriginal, municipal and not-for-profit sectors. She has been in public practice for over 13 years, receiving her designation in Ireland and Canada in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
Sinéad has further training in ASNPO and PSAB, is a technical reviewer with BDO in these areas, has participated in internal peer review for the last five years, and conducts training at a local and national level on behalf of BDO.
Sinéad is involved in the community through her role as Chair of the Board of Directors of United Way Southern Interior of British Columbia and Board Director of United Way of British Columbia. Sinéad is also the current Vice Chair of the Women's Pillar on BDO Canada's Inclusion, Equity & Diversity Committee.
Sinéad became an honouree of CPABC's 2020 Member Recognition Program recognized for her outstanding accomplishments and the esteem she brings to CPA, the accounting profession, and local communities and received an Early Achievement award in 2020.
Sinéad has also received 2020 Community Distinction Award from the United Way SIBC to recognize her significant contribution to the organization.
