Executive summary
Peter is a partner in BDO's Guelph office. As a tax partner at BDO, Peter advises and consults with clients - including business owners, corporate executives and other high net individuals - on Canadian tax matters, such as estate planning, business restructuring, and proactive current tax planning. He has planned and implemented numerous estate plans and inter-generational transfers of family businesses. He also regularly consults with clients on implementing tax-effective structures to split income with family members now, and after death through will planning.

Peter is a current member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and a former study group leader and in-session tutor for the CICA In-depth Course.
Professional designations and education
Peter graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1994 and went on to receive his CPA, CA designation two years later. In 1998, he completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course and obtained his CFP designation and, in 2003, received his Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner designation. He has taught at his Alma mater, Wilfrid Laurier University in Kitchener-Waterloo, and at the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants Tax Week.
