Prior to joining BDO, Mike founded Onager Solutions and later led the national growth of GrantMatch, formerly FairTax, establishing it as a leading grants and incentives consulting firm. His work helped scale the firm’s advisory capabilities and deliver end-to-end support for clients, from project scoping and funding program identification to application development and post-approval compliance reporting.
At BDO, Mike supports organizations in identifying, securing, and maximizing government funding to advance strategic innovations and investment outcomes. He brings deep experience in building technology-enabled advisory solutions, including leading the design and development of the GrantMatch Platform, a proprietary system that uses intelligent matching algorithms to assess more than 12,000 government funding programs against client data.
Mike has played a key role in securing more than $700 million in grants and incentives for organizations across the private and public sectors. He is known for his practical, results-driven approach and his focus on helping clients reduce risk, improve return on investment, and access funding opportunities that support long-term growth and innovation.
