Mikaela Taylor is a Partner and West Leader for the Assurance practice and a member of the Senior Leadership team. As an Accounting and Assurance Firm Technical Leader, Mikaela specializes in public companies and is responsible for developing quality procedures and standards, ensuring firm-wide compliance, organizing training initiatives, assessing client requirements, monitoring performance, and assisting BDO teams globally.

She has 20 years of audit experience in aerospace, biotech software, natural resources, real estate, life sciences, and technology sectors.

Mikaela has strong analytical and investigative skills and is knowledgeable about publicly listed companies and U.S. GAAP accounting standards. She has also worked with both TSX listed entities and SEC registrants.

Outside of her role as Partner, Mikaela has a long history of leadership roles and responsibilities, including Treasurer of the Aerospace Industry Association of B.C., Member of the Life Sciences B.C. Finance Committee, Member of the Aerospace Industry Association of Canada's Pacific Committee, and Organizing Committee Member for the Aerospace Defence and Security Expo.
