With more than 20 years of experience, she advises executive teams across financial services, technology, manufacturing, and professional services on practical ways to manage technology risk, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic growth.

Katia works with organizations facing change, regulatory expectations, assurance demands, and technology transformation. Her advisory work includes internal controls over financial reporting, IT general controls, third-party assurance engagements, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 readiness and reporting, IT risk assessments, business continuity planning, IT disaster recovery, AI governance, and integrated governance and compliance programs. She also helps organizations embed ICFR and ITGC considerations into transformation initiatives so that new systems, processes, and operating models are built with control, accountability, and audit readiness in mind.

Using leading practices and recognized frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 and related standards, Katia helps clients move from reactive compliance to proactive risk management.
