Executive summary

Glory Keong is the Director of Sustainability for BDO Canada, where she leads the firm’s national sustainability program and decarbonization efforts. Her work includes the development and execution of BDO Canada’s greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory across scopes 1, 2, and 3, the establishment of science-based emissions reduction targets, and the creation of BDO’s annual sustainability report.

Glory brings expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks and reporting standards, including GRI, IBC/WEF, TCFD, ISSB S1/S2, and ESRS. She leads the materiality assessments to support both BDO Canada and the global BDO network and, as Lead Sustainability subject-matter expert, she ensures that sustainability engagements and deliverables align with the Science-Based Targets initiative and net-zero best practices.

Her work is highly collaborative, partnering with leaders across Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Legal, Risk, Real Estate and Facilities, Operations, and Service Lines to advance BDO’s sustainability strategy. Glory also provides strategic ESG guidance during RFP processes and represents BDO in internal and external speaking engagements focused on climate change, ESG reporting, and sustainability transformation. With a background spanning corporate strategy, project management, stakeholder engagement, and DEI leadership, she brings a practical, evidence-based approach to supporting organizations on their sustainability journeys.
