Executive summary
Braham Moondi is a Partner in BDO's Toronto office and a member of the A&A Advisory services, Technology and Life Sciences, and Public Company groups. She has more than a decade ofexperience in public practice providing accounting and A&A services to large private and public companies in automotive/dealership, technology and media, leasing and financial services, and energy/utility industries.
Braham has significant IFRS and US GAAP consulting experience, and has assisted clients with transitioning their financial statements to these frameworks. Additionally, she provides advisory services regarding impacts of new and upcoming accounting standards, and leads several internal firm training initiatives in this area and in reporting under ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP.
She has extensive experience with complex accounting treatments and revenue recognition, SaaS type arrangements, business combinations, power purchase arrangements, foreign consolidations, lease arrangement structures, and debt/equity arrangements.
