Second planet from the Sun

Venus rotates very slowly on its axis. One day on Venus lasts 243 Earth days and one orbit the Sun takes only about 225 Earth days. Venus has crushing air pressure at its surface - more than 90 times that of Earth - similar to the pressure you'd encounter a mile below the ocean on Earth.

Fifth planet from our sun

Jupiter rotates once about every 10 hours but takes about 12 Earth years to complete one orbit of the Sun. Jupiter has 80 moons but the more popular ones are: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.

Explore Jupiter

Saturn takes about 10.7 hours to rotate on its axis once and 29 Earth years to orbit the sun. Saturn has the most spectacular ring system, with seven rings and several gaps and divisions between them. Saturn has 83 moons but the more popular ones are: Titan, Enceladus, Pheobe, and Prometheus.
