Executive Summary

Greg is the Eastern Canada Tax Service Leader for BDO. As a Canadian Tax Partner, Greg advises clients on tax and advisory services to both personal and corporate clients. He is also the Tax Office Service Line Leader for Atlantic Canada. With over 18 years of experience, the last 15 exclusively in tax, Greg’s focus has primarily been on Private Client Services and Canadian personal tax planning and compliance for individuals and corporations.

Greg has advised clients on a variety of business issues and opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, financial forecasting and modeling, due diligence assignments for both large corporations and owner-managed enterprises, transaction tax services, trust and estate planning, and Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) government incentives. His industry expertise includes oil and gas, manufacturing and processing, including the seafood industry, as well as technology and transportation.

Greg presents regularly in the community on various tax topics through the Canadian Tax Foundation and learning sessions and industry conferences, and hosts an annual tax clinic for low-income individuals and senior citizens. He has also taught the CPA In-Depth Tax Course for a number of years.
