It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our friend and colleague, Scott Denomy. His sudden passing on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, is deeply felt by the BDO Canada community. Our sincere condolences go out to Scott's family during this difficult time.
Scott was a Partner in BDO's Chatham, Ont. office. With more than 30 years of professional experience, he was a member of BDO's Agriculture industry group and a Chartered Accountant with a focus on owner-managed businesses. He diligently provided assurance and tax services to private enterprises across Southwestern Ontario.
“He touched us all and he will be missed by his family, friends, clients, and colleagues forever.”
Scott was an avid sports fan and especially loved hockey, baseball, and golf. He was passionate about supporting youth in sports and dedicated his time to coaching junior and minor hockey and baseball.
He will be fondly remembered as a well-respected colleague and a friend to many.
“Scott cared about people. He cared about the things that matter most: his family, our staff, and his clients. He wanted the best for people, he worked hard, and along the way, wanted to have a little fun. I will miss Scott. He was a colleague, friend, and someone whom I trusted,” shared Chris Anderson, Tax Partner in BDO's Chatham office.
