Vancouver (BC) – BDO Canada is excited to announce the addition of Michael Bains, as an M&A Advisory Partner on the Financial Advisory Services team. Michael brings more than 20 years of experience providing personalized and strategic advice to clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising.

In this role, Michael will focus on providing investment banking services to privately held and family businesses within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. Michael is a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant.
Michael joins BDO on April 1, 2024 and is based in the Vancouver office.
