Toronto, ON — BDO Canada is pleased to welcome Giovanni Pizzoferrato to BDO as Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDTO). This addition is part of our continued commitment to expanding the transformation agenda for our clients across the country.
Gio brings more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation, cloud modernization, AI enablement, and enterprise technology leadership. His extensive career spans a variety of sectors, where he has demonstrated a proven ability to balance vision with execution through his collaborative and grounded leadership style.

Giovanni will also lead the firm's approach to security and innovation enablement, working closely with leaders across IT, data, and digital. He will partner cross-functionally across service lines and business units to ensure BDO's technology priorities are aligned, scalable, and future-ready.
With a background that bridges both creative and technical disciplines, Giovanni holds degrees in Management from the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and Network Engineering from Delta College.
He joins BDO Canada on August 11 and will be based in the Ottawa office.
