Christiane Eid joins BDO Canada as Partner, Tax

Toronto (ON) – BDO Canada is pleased to welcome its newest partner, Christiane Eid, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in U.S. tax planning, compliance and cross-border structuring to BDO. She has notable expertise in the taxation of private equity funds and infrastructure investments.

Christiane has significant experience developing and implementing tax strategies and structures for large-scale investments, including deep knowledge of institutional investor onboarding, U.S. reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks including FATCA and CRS.

Fluent in English, French, Danish, and Portuguese, Christiane is known for building authentic relationships across cultural, political, and societal boundaries and is committed to inclusive and empathetic engagement.

Christiane holds a Master of Science in Accountancy (Cum Laude) from the University of Notre Dame (2005). She joined BDO on June 16, 2025 and is based in the firm's Montreal office.
