TORONTO – BDO Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Schaefer as a Partner in its Personal Debt Solutions practice, based in the firm’s Kitchener–Waterloo office.
Scott brings over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families as they navigate financial challenges and work toward regaining control of their finances. As a Chartered Professional Accountant with a background in accounting and economics, he is known for delivering practical debt solutions grounded in technical insight and real‑world understanding.
Scott holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional. He is a member of CPA Ontario.
