Michael Shields
Michael is an experienced tax professional who enhances value for Canadian businesses, entrepreneurs, and family offices by developing and implementing strategic tax plans that address complex challenges and opportunities.
With experience across a variety of industries, including technology, manufacturing, construction and development, mining, retail, hospitality, and transportation, Michael works closely with clients to develop practical solutions tailored to their needs.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Yogesh Bhathella
With more than 20 years of tax experience, Yogesh provides comprehensive Canadian tax advice to privately held businesses across a broad range of industries. He works closely with business owners, stakeholders, and their families to help them navigate complex tax matters and achieve their long-term business and personal objectives.
His practice focuses on business succession planning, helping clients develop tailored strategies to facilitate the transition of ownership and wealth to future generations. With deep expertise in the taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, and trusts, Yogesh helps clients address complex tax challenges while safeguarding their legacy and financial security.
Yogesh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). He is also a member of the STEP Canada Tax Technical Committee.
