Executive Summary

Armand is BDO Canada's National Accounting Standards Partner. Armand provides leadership to the firm on all matters related to accounting standards, advice and opinions on accounting and financial reporting technical matters and develops and disseminates internal and external technical releases, client publications and training in the areas of accounting and financial reporting.

Armand is Chair of BDO International's IFRS Working Party.

Armand is also actively involved in accounting standard setting. He is currently Vice Chair of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) and was formerly chair of the AcSB's Private Enterprise Advisory Committee. He is also a past member of the AcSB's IFRS Discussion Group and the Public Sector Accounting Board's Public Section Accounting Discussion Group.
