On May 13, 2020, an Order (the "CCAA Initial Order") was granted by the Honourable Madam Justice B.E. Romaine of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta (the "Court") pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (the "CCAA") granting Redrock Camps Inc., Sockeye Enterprises Inc., Sweetwater Hospitality Inc. and Baldr Construction Management Inc. (collectively referred to as the "Redrock Group") various relief including, but not limited to, the imposition of an initial Stay of Proceedings (the "Stay") against the Redrock Group and its assets through to May 25, 2020. The Court appointed BDO Canada Limited as the monitor of the Redrock Group (the "Monitor").
On May 25, 2020, the Court granted an Amended and Restated CCAA Initial Order (the " ARIO") further extending the Stay to July 24, 2020. On July 14, 2020, the Court further extended the Stay through to September 30, 2020. On September 15, 2020, the Court further extended the Stay through to November 27, 2020. On November 26, 2020, the Court extended the Stay through to February 12, 2021. On February 8, 2021, the Court further extended the Stay through to March 31, 2021. On March 29, 2021, the Court extended the Stay through to May 14, 2021.
Status Update as at May 13, 2021
The Proceedings have concluded and on May 13, 2021, the Court granted an Order discharging the Monitor. There are no funds available for distribution to creditors.
