Executive Summary

Richard is a Partner in BDO's Quality Assurance Group with over 15 years experience in the audit and accounting practice. He has exposure to many types and sizes of organizations and a variety of industries, including public companies, financial services, not-for-profit member organizations. He provides consultation in complex accounting, auditing and financial reporting matters as well as ensures that quality standards and regulations are applied to a wide variety of assurance and related services. He acts as an independent technical advisor on public company engagements and, as a member of the Toronto Quality Assurance Team, he advises partners and staff on the impact of new accounting standards and consults on accounting, financial reporting and regulatory issues facing both private and publicly traded entities. Richard also actively engages in the development and delivery of accounting and professional development courses and publications.
