Executive summary
Quinton is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Tax Partner in BDO's Kelowna office, with over 13 years of public practice experience. Quinton's primary focus is providing tax planning to owner-managed businesses, particularly with respect to divestiture planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and cross-border transactions. He has experience helping clients with tax problems ranging from immigration/emigration and US personal tax compliance and planning, to helping create international financing structures for large multinational entities. He has experience working with clients from a wide range of industries, including technology, farming, retail, construction, hospitality, and mining.
Quinton also loves to teach, and has been involved in the faculty of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course, from 2013 to the present, tutoring and lecturing at different portions of the program. He has also been a lecturer at other functions, including STEP and CPABC PD courses.
