Executive Summary

Nicole provides tax controversy and dispute resolution services for BDO across Canada. Her practice centers on assisting clients who are undergoing a tax dispute with the CRA or provincial tax authorities. This work includes audit management, as well as representation during the objection and appeals process. Nicole also provides strategic advice concerning client prospects regarding their tax disputes and guidance as to legislative procedures. Other aspects of Nicole’s practice include matters such as, relief applications, collections issues and voluntary disclosure applications. 

Prior to joining BDO, Nicole practiced tax litigation at an international law firm as well as a national accounting firm. Nicole obtained her J.D. from the University of Ottawa after which she graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with an LL.M. (Tax).
