Marc is an Advisory Services Partner with BDO Canada and the National Leader for the People & Change service. Marc has 30 years of accomplished consulting experience in the public and private sector. His professional passion is solving complex business problems and delivering practical, lasting solutions for his clients. He is a Certified Management Consultant and a Professional Engineer with a Master's degree in Engineering Management. Marc is fluently bilingual in both French and English.
Marc has extensive experience with human resource strategies, digital service strategies, and shared-services delivery models. Marc has successfully advised clients on large and complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, C-level executives, and $100+ million budgets — specifically on business and digital transformations. His work during the definition phases of these initiatives has generated successful business cases, approval from senior management boards, and the establishment of well-defined and well-structured projects. Marc's main area of expertise includes business case development; authority and funding submissions; risk management; change management; project management; performance management, and human resources management. He is deeply familiar with the federal government's policies, directives, standards, and guidelines regarding information management/information technology (IM/IT). Marc is also very familiar with the various federal and provincial employment standards as well as human resources best practices in the areas of leadership, employee engagement, and culture.
Before merging with and joining BDO in 2013, Marc was the Chief Operating Officer of Interis Consulting Inc. for 16 years where he was responsible for realizing the corporate strategy and operational plan, as well as for operational improvement. His internal focus was on the employee experience and workplace culture, and developing a highly engaged and performing team with an amazing culture that led to winning four (4) Top Employer Awards in the National Capital Region. Marc is passionate about building high performing teams.
