Laila has over 25 years of professional experience providing Human Resources Advisory services to public sector and not for profit clients. She is a trusted advisor to executives undertaking transformation initiatives and human resource management/change management assignments at all three levels of government.  Clients recognize her ability to plan and manage teams, advise management of strategic options, engage and involve stakeholders, and reconcile divergent interests to achieve desired results.

Her project experience extends to strategic human resource management/change management in unionized and non-unionized environments including consulting assignments in a range of Human Resources programs, such as talent management, succession planning and HR policy development. Laila also advises senior leaders on organization redesigns, HR strategy, various HR processes, as well as communications planning and stakeholder engagement.

Laila has held many positions in the community volunteer sector and is currently a director for a local charitable organization that provides cultural interpretation and language services to new Canadians.
