John joined BDO in 2008 as a member of our firm's US tax practice in our large market region. With 14 years of experience in Canada / US cross-border corporate tax work and 18 years of overall US tax experience, his practice focuses on serving Canadian corporations and operating in the US.
His expertise in planning for mergers and acquisitions, repatriations of assets, and tax structures that allow his clients to efficiently conduct their US activities. During his time in public accounting, John has worked with companies in the manufacturing and distribution, IT, farming, financial, and service industries.
