Executive Summary
Johanne Barbeau's experience in accounting, assurance and business management spans over twenty years, half of which was spent working for an international firm. She also has experience with private entities, where she learned to deal with the constraints and challenges facing the firm's SME clientele. Her clients come from various sectors: services and real estate, manufacturing, construction, and automotive industries, as well as non-profit organizations. Johanne joined Fauteux, Bruno, Bussière, Leewarden, CPA, LLP (FBBL) as manager in 2011 and was appointed associate in 2014. FBBL merged with BDO Canada s.r.l./s.e.n.c.r.l./LLP in June 2015. In 2017, Johanne was appointed Patner.
Specializing in audits and reporting, Johanne has facilitated many internal training sessions on audit and review procedures, efficiency, time management and client relations. In doing so, she helps meet the requirements of clients, while having them benefit from a highly competitive cost-benefit ratio.
The essence of leadership, teamwork skills, pragmatism and attention to detail mark the diverse career path of Johanne who, as a coach, trained figure skater Josée Chouinard for the 1992 Winter Olympics, in addition to several World Figure Skating Championships and other international figure skating competitions.
