Executive Summary

Glenn has over 25 years experience as a chartered accountant providing auditing, accounting and advisory services for privately-held companies and co-operatives. He works with clients to significantly grow the financial performance of their business through the use of cash flow projections and forecasts, corporate and tax restructuring and negotiations with financial institutions to recapitalize operations. Glenn also has expertise in the area of financing, re-financing, joint venture negotiations and mergers and acquisitions.

His practice focuses on the manufacturing, retail trade, transportation and food services industry sectors. Further complementing and enhancing his business experience, Glenn took a two year leave of absence during his tenure as a partner with BDO to act as President of a national bakery food services company.

In 1991, Glenn was awarded the Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) designation, recognizing outstanding career achievements and leadership contributions to the community and the profession. More recently, Glenn received the Corporate Finance (CF) designation, a qualification which recognizes individuals with specialized corporate finance expertise.

Professional Affiliations

Glenn is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and the Government Regulations Working Group as part of the Ontario Co-op Association. He is also an advisor to the Financial Services Commission with respect to the Ontario Co-op Act.

Community Involvement

Glenn is heavily involved in the local communities he serves. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Accessible Media Inc., the Hamilton-Burlington-Brantford YMCA, Lynwood Hall Children's Centre and Lynwood Hall Children's Centre Foundation. Past community involvement includes the boards of the following organizations: Amity Goodwill Industries, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Rotary Club of Mississauga, Hamilton Catholic Family Services, Hillfield Strathallan College, Wellington Psychiatric Outreach Program and Junior Achievement of Hamilton.
