Gil has over 30 years of US tax and accounting experience in both the public and private sectors. For the past 20 years, he has worked in public practice in the Western Canada market providing US tax consulting, compliance and advisory services to Canadian businesses with US operations. His broad range of experience in both US domestic and international planning includes cross-border issues related to financing and structuring investment into the US, repatriation of funds back to Canada, as well as operational tax minimization strategies for US federal and state tax.
During his career, Gil has worked with many types of businesses from large international corporations to owner managed entrepreneurial businesses. Industry experience includes: oil & gas, power generation, mining, real estate, financial services, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, retail, construction, trucking, insurance and professional services.
