David Lewis, CIRP, CPA, CA, LIT

Executive summary

David is a Partner and Vice-President in the Financial Recovery Service practice in the BDO Edmonton office. David started his career in insolvency in 2008 with an extensive background in all areas of accounting, including audits and corporate taxes. He brings his industry knowledge in oil and gas, retail, real estate, and hospitality to BDO as a member of our Financial Advisory group.

David supports small, medium, and large enterprises with recovery strategies. He has undertaken several financial viability assessments and insolvency proceedings. He has experience in corporate bankruptcy, working on corporate proposals under the BIA and CCAA, as well as private and court-appointed receiverships.

David is an active volunteer with his church and coaches his daughter's U15 basketball team.
