David is a Partner in BDO's Thunder Bay office. He has over 30 years of professional experience providing auditing, accounting and advisory services to public, private, and not-for-profit organizations including The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay (Audit Partner), Thunder Bay Hydro Corporation (Audit Partner), Thunder Bay Community Auditorium Inc. (Audit Partner), and Opiikapawin Services LP/First Nation LP (Audit Partner).

He uses his industry expertise and in-depth knowledge of various accounting standards (IFRS, PSAB, ASNPO, ASPE, ASPP) to provide seamless services to his clients; and he's called upon by the firm to provide quality and standards reviews across Canada through other BDO offices in the municipal, not-for-profit, and rate regulated industries. He has been admitted to provide expert testimony in the Ontario Superior Court relating to accounting, audit, and valuation expertise, and provided expert testimony in an arbitration case situated in the province of Quebec involving accounting, working capital, impairment, and valuation issues.
